SANGEET BHARATI

Sangeet Bharati is a melodious convergence of Geetam, Nrityam and Vadyam. Founded by the visionary Shri G. R. Gupta in 1948, it is one of the first institutes of its kind, devoted to the training and promotion of Indian Classical Music and Dance.

Located in the cultural hub of New Delhi, its main emphasis is to create a warm, open and creative environment for learning and appreciating Indian classical and early pre-school education.

It has been the institute’s endeavour to inculcate a deep appreciation for Indian classical art, heritage and values in its students, by encouraging an early exposure in the field of performing arts.

Aspiring artists are trained in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music, Indian Classical Dance forms Kathak and Bharatnatyam and Instrumental Music - Guitar and Tabla.
